1st April is not only April Fool’s Day for us but it also a day of Leslie Cheung remembered. Seven years ago, he ended his life by jumping down from a hotel. I still remember that night I received SMS from my brother and I don’t believe on it.
But there are news broadcasted by radio station and had confirmed this is true. I’m sad when I heard it. He is a fantastic artist and he has his own style.
Always remember you, Leslie.
It has been waited 5 years for Jacky Cheung to release his new album. I think this is good news for his supporter.
We not only can listen to his music but also can watch his movie during Chinese New Year. He has a movie during Chinese New Year, so I will not miss it.

I read this news when I was in my aunty house. It is about how to increase the popularity of local movie production to local people. I can’t remembered who mentioned this method, he said, in order to ‘make’ people watch more local production, what they will do is increase the ticket price for foreign movie (Hollywood, double up the ticket price) and also reduce the number of foreign movie to be show in cinema (restrict the number of foreign movie to be show in cinema).
He also mentioned the possible side effect of this method. Guess what he said. He said the side effect might make people choose to watch foreign movie instead of local movie. They are willing to pay more. But my point will be if they really increase the ticket price, whose will benefit from it? I believe will be the private DVD manufacturer. This also makes people rather download movie from internet than watch in cinema, much cheaper.
I really hope they think deeply before making the decision. Their decision straightly affects our daily living style.
