Is the above picture nice? It is a picture from Swiss Garden Resort Kuantan. That is where our first long distance trip, daddy, mummy and Carmen. We started our journey at night time and reached the hotel at 2am. Can you imagine how long is the journey? 4 hours! Daddy and mummy took turns to drive the car.Carmen slept behind with mummy. This was our first time travel with Carmen, we bought a lot of things, bought Carmen mattress as well, is like bringing the whole room.

We reached there around 2am and do check in, everything settled, already 3am. First step into the room, straight to the bed and sleep, shirt also didn’t change.

We stayed there for 3 days 2 nights. Accommodation is FOC, because it is a free entitlement from the package I joined few years ago.

Day 1, we drove out to restaurant near by for lunch, we had breakfast inside the hotel room, we bought some bread and one big bottle of milk as you can see from the picture below, the one that Carmen holding inside the hotel room. After lunch we went to shopping mall in town city, it tooks about 20 minutes car journey from our hotel. Almost half of the people inside shopping mall are Malay and the other half are Chinese. We didn’t buy anything because we want to save the money for better meal. We went back to hotel continue our dream. Dinner, we went out of the hotel to Chinese restaurant near by for sea foods. Not bad, we have crabs, prawns and fish and vegetables. You guess how much is the bill? Very cheap, less than RM60. Unbelievable or impossible?

Day 2 was the interesting day. You can see from the pictures below, that’s what we did on day 2, swimming time! This is the first time Carmen swim inside swimming pool. Mummy is her safety guard. At first we don’t want her body to get wet because the weather there was windy, scared she got flu. But, she still got wet, whole body from head to toe also wet, where got people play water and won’t get wet, right? She loves water, and mummy too. I am the camera man for them. After an hour later, mummy carry Carmen back to hotel room to take bath.  Day 2 we didn’t go to town, we just stayed inside the hotel room, sitting on the balcony, enjoy the sea view, relax.Dinner as usual, went out because hotel restaurant is very expensive and not so good taste, agree? We watched movie CDs and DVDs at night, hotel got DVD player? No, we brought a portable compact DVD player there.

Day 3, our last day in the hotel. We woke up quite late after watching 3 movies last night. Suppose to rest well because have to drive for few hours, but we used the time for watching movies. After checked out from the hotel, we heading back to the town to buy some local foods or local favourites back home.

Ok, that’s our first trip to outstation. Don’t know when is our first trip to oversea?
