A concert that held in Genting Arena of Star on 7th and 8th of December. 3 of us and 4 of my friends went up there in 2 cars, start journey at 4pm. Our planned schedule was all gather in front of my office at 4pm, have early dinner on the way to there, continue journey to our destination, show start at 8pm, coffee after the show then back home.
Carmen starts sleeping from office to the 1st destination. We reached our first destination (early dinner) but the shop have not start business yet, so plan change, we decided to have fast food, we choose Burger King, because the shop is located on the way to Genting. Normally Carmen can sleep for 2-4 hours on the afternoon, maybe is because inside the car, she woke up when we reached burger king. We all ate burger and she ate chicken bites and fries.
After filling everyone stomach, we continue our journey. Genting is located in top of the mountain, so we have drive up hill. On the way up hill, I think Carmen feel not comfortable, keep pressing her ear (maybe pressure) and start making noise. As everyone in Malaysia know the way to Genting is up hill, downhill and suddenly make narrow turning. So mummy have to carry her, keep telling her it’s ok, very fast reach there, after a while, Carmen fall into sleep again.
After 45 minutes car journey, we reached there, park our car inside the car park (very difficult to find a parking lot on weekend). Since she still sleeps so have to bring down the stroller. The weather there is windy and slightly cold. Carmen wears a jacket with many strawberries on it, cute. Now we have to collect the ticket on the counter in front the entrance. 6 person 6 tickets, everyone holding their own ticket and get ready to make the move to the show room and mummy got blocked, we was told that children under 3 and infants in arm are not allow to enter. If want to bring Carmen in then have to buy the cheapest ticket which is RM50.00 (10% discount for Genting World Card Holder). What to do, already reach there then have to buy another ticket for her have ticket but does not have a seat for her. That’s my mistake, I didn’t read carefully on the website.
Let me explain briefly about the show, this show is 1 of the famous TV show programme in Hong Kong for the past 10 years. They invite artists to their programme to play games and win money and prizes. Their prizes are very attractive, got diamond, travel voucher, shoe voucher, free fitness fees, and etc. What I can said is, they got very good sponsor. Click here for the programme from YouTube.
They invited 8 artists from Hong Kong and 2 artists from Malaysia to play the game. Split into 2 teams and start challenge. The show schedule for 2 1/2 hours, so not all the games they played in Hong Kong will play here, they select few game (which is famous) to play here. That night events are as below
- Each team send out 1 contestant, use mouth to suck the table tennis ball (the ball is put on top of an air blow machine, so that the ball stays on the air). They did invite some audience to play the game as well.
- Game time, rolling, not 1 person but 2 or 3 or 4 persons roll together on the floor. The more people involve the more difficult to roll and the more laughing sound you can hear.
- Performance time, singing plus perform magic.
- Game time, grab the bread using cheek, 2 person game. They put the bread inside the toast machine and press the eject button to make the bread jump up in between 2 players and they have to using their cheek to grab it, like sandwiches or burger is the better word?
- Again is performance time, singing like the original singer, must act like the original singer, voice and dancing as well. This part really enjoyable, almost 90% of people also can’t stop laughing, this part really good.
- Singing time.
- Final game, team event. Each team send out 1 player to guess the number, the number is between 1 to 100. Is not guessing the right number but not to guess it right, because if you got it right then the balloon on top of your head will burst and your the other player face will become creamy face. Why? Cause the opponent side will send out the players holding a plate of cream and throw to the other opponent face or body once they win the game, cruel?
- Last event is singing time and donation time.
Not bad, the show is very entertaining; at least I can see everyone face also smiling. Our final planned schedule, coffee time cancelled, because Carmen too tired, and sleep. I cancelled my plan but I don’t know about my friends, maybe they continue the plan.
On the way back really difficult to drive cause of the wind and the rain. Suppose to be 45mins journey and ended up to 1hr 30mins, phew, double of the time. Reached home around 1am plus, really sleepy. Mummy back home still change Carmen diapers so that she can sleep more comfortable (no leaking on the bed). That’s the 1st concert for 3 of us. Hope there will be more and more concert for 3 of us in future.
