I went to attend a focus group after work. I have to reach there around 6:30pm. Because the location is in KL, so I went off early. I went off at 5pm from office and reached there 15 minutes before 6pm. Since is still early, so I went around the area. I went to Wisma Cosway and Pavillion. These 2 places are crowed by people, by OL, by foreigner and cars.

When time reached, I went to the appointed place to attend the focus group. Is a small focus group, only 8 people. Light refreshment is served before the focus group start.

The focus group is about the water filter. What are the water filters currently we are using at home, how much we bought it last time, what is the main purpose of buying it and many more questions.

After an hour of discussion, they brought out their newly designed/invented water filter. The water filter brand is Tupperware. Frankly speaking, the design of their new water filter is really elegant, but is not consider a perfect product. Some commented that it will be better if it can be hang on the wall so that the kitchen has more spaces to put other stuff.

The last question they asked us is how much you will pay for it? Our answers are between 1k and 2k. We asked them how much is the selling price and they said is still under consideration. Once confirm will let us know the price.

Each of us is given a bag of Tupperware products plus a RM50 token. The Tupperware products cost about RM300. For me it is consider a very good gift.

Today very silent in my screen, silent in the sense that less communication dialog appeared in my screen. This is because my 2 office mates are offline today. One is on leave and the other was on emergency. Both surnames are Tan and that’s why I said missing ‘Tan’.

The guy that emergency called me this morning. I thought who called me so early. I asked him what’s wrong and he asked me back where am I. I told him on the way to car park and he said “OK, now I come over”. “What’s wrong?” But he still insists to tell me why.

When I reached car park, he told me his car can’t start engine. When he tried to close the window and realized it is slow, slow like turtle, like no energy. Then he stop the engine and try start it, but can’t. I asked him is it battery problem? He said he had changed it last month, so shouldn’t be the battery issue. OK, then I fetched him to the workshop that I usually went. The foreman heard it and he suspect is the battery connection part failure, so he borrow me a battery and a wire to jump start the car. Then drive the car over here for detail checking.

I didn’t follow him back to the workshop, because I need to work. I let him settle by himself. I gave him a call on afternoon and he said the car still in workshop, not the workshop we went this morning, is the workshop near his house.

Both of them are my lunch mate, so today will be a boring day.

Yesterday read an article that these 2 states Islam Organization came out a report that Muslim in Johor and Perak are not allow to wear MU jersey. The reason for that is because of the logo, the devil logo. They claim that devils are not good in Islam. I believe devils are not good in all religious, but if don’t have devils then where got god? Do you agree that everything must have bad then only have good thing?

Is not only MU jersey affected, but also Spain national team jersey, Brazil national team jersey and many more? As long as those jersey that have devils or cross will be ban in these 2 states. I wonder what era we are living now, how come so many restrictions and these are necessary restrictions. Why only 2 states want to execute this and not the whole country? Is this what we call 1 Malaysia?

Early morning received message from boss. Before reading it, I thought some urgent stuff need to settle fast, thought New Zealand reported error. Thanks god, it nothing related to work, is just a message that saying he is on MC today.

Lately I found out from my colleague that something happen to his face. I think something happen to his cheek. Don’t know what happen until something grow big on his cheek. He describes it like Chinese pancake. Ha-ha. He said is food poisoning. I wonder what foods causing that happen.

From this situation, I think he will need few days to recover. So we will have more freedom in office with his absent.

Sugar price had increased RM0.25 per kg. And some mamak stall had increased the drink with RM 0.10 per cup. I think they are too much on that. How can they increase RM 0.10 per cup and it only increased RM 0.25 per kg. How many cups they can make with 1 kg sugar?

My colleague told me this. He said his area had increased the price. I know government had setup a department for people to complaint if they found out some stall increased the price necessary. But I wonder how many people will lodge a report to them and how efficient they can handle this?

HR Director is the position in my company that always change person. So far within these 2-3 years, already 3 people employed for this position and had resigned within a year. A year was the maximum period.

I asked one of the HR staff. I said “You had a new Director” and she replied “I think she won’t work for long” I was curious and asked her why. She said “Maybe FengShui not good”. I think the pressure is heavy because he or she needs to report to Director of another country. I know cross reporting is very troublesome. Is not once a week but almost every day I heard them talked to each other.

Her staff also complaint that HR department now have 5 person but 2 do operation/paper works and 3 do recruitment. She asked me “Can you imagine half of the resources work on one thing and there are many issues on a company and these issues only solved by 2 staff?” She even told me what the salary of the person who only works on simple job with high pay in rough figure is. I can feel that she is very not satisfied with her current workload. Anyway, that’s her department problem, I can’t comment on it.

I wonder how long the new HR Director will stay in this company.

Yesterday tried to transfer some money from PayPal to my usual debit card, but there is some problem happen. My debit card detail has gone and I failed to add it after few tries. What had happen? Is PayPal does not accept the debit card or the card problems?

Since I can’t transfer to my debit card, then I tried on transfer it to my bank account. From PayPal to my bank account it stated 2-3 working days and the charges is RM 3 for amount below RM 400 and it is free if the amount is more than RM 400. Looks like the charges is cheaper compare on withdrawing to debit card, and the processing time is shorter. Anyway I am waiting for it to justify which are faster and cheaper. I think I have to wait for 1-2 days then only I know which is better.

I really wish to know what happen to my debit card, does anyone encounter this problem before or facing it currently?

What is the taste of a cup of beer? I had a cup of beer and it taste different from what I had tasted last time. This time I feel bitter. Is the beer problem or my tongue problem?

It is a bottle beer and not from jug, so it should be the original taste of it. If it is the original taste of it then why so many people like to drink it and drink it until drunk? In Chinese, there is a sentence called “Self find trouble”.

Thing probably, is the taste of the brand or all the beer are same taste? Some people told me it is the brand, some brand are bitter and some are smooth, and that’s why there are some many different brands of beer in the market. So what is your favorite brand of beer?
