MU survived the first-half sending off Fabio Da Silva to reach round four of the Carling Cup. Fabio saw red for bundling over Michael Kightly before former United man David Jones brought a good save out of Tomasz Kuszczak and later chipped over. Christophe Berra then headed over and Wolves were punished when Danny Welbeck played a neat one-two with Michael Owen before stroking the ball home.
